Heart shape with multiple photos of community cultural events, art and historic spaces

The City of Vancouver’s Culture, Arts & Heritage Plan identified a lack of art making space as one of the cultural community’s highest needs. If funding is available, the Vancouver Police Department’s move to a new space in 2021 provides the City with an opportunity to repurpose this building into our community's first arts center.

The Arts HQ could serve as a space to house individual artists' studios, classrooms, exhibits and community crafting spaces.
